Family & Sibling Portraits:
I understand first hand how difficult it is to get the kids and the family together in one place to get a family portrait done. We may not always look our best and maybe we want to lose a “few” pounds before we get in front of the camera. I am guilty of that. However, some of my favorite photos of me and my family are ones where I didn’t necessarily look my best, but we are together and we are happy and healthy.
Family sessions do not have to be stressful. You don’t have to go out and buy whole new wardrobe. I can work with you to coordinate clothing ideas and color options. When we get together to do your photos, I like to make things light and have fun. When I look at some of the family photos I’ve taken over the years, I see people that are genuinely happy. These are not forced smiles…they are truly happy people. That’s my goal…to capture happy moments together as a family.
If you have a dog (or other small-mid sized pet) I encourage you to bring him or her to your session! I am a dog person—I grew up with German Shepherds and I have had Boston Terriers for several years (this is my boy Rocky in these photos). I get that dogs are part of your family and you want to remember your time with them. I also conduct pet portrait sessions for just your fury friend!
